Hello Trapper Creek CC,

MEA is working on a grant application that would allow us to provide a micro-grid project to serve the Trapper Creek, Talkeetna, Petersville, and Susitna North areas. This project would include battery storage, solar, and additional electric infrastructure to provide more reliable service and additional power routing for this area. I saw on the borough calendar the next CC meeting is on July 20^th. Could MEA be added to the agenda to provide some background information on the project and get some feedback from the Trapper Creek community? I’ve cc’d Josh Craft on this email, who is our Grid Modernization Manager, and submitting the pre-application for this grant.

Rep. McCabe has invited DPS/Alaska State Troopers to our next meeting on July 20, 2023 @6:30 pm @ the Trapper Creek Community Center.
